Fandomfest 2016

Come celebrate your favorite fandom at our Annual Fandomfest on Monday at 3pm. There will be games, food, crafts, and prizes! Ages 10-18 are welcome. 

Cosplay is encouraged, but not required. All Cosplay weapons must be fake and if used inappropriately will be held till the end of the program.









Whovians Unite!

Doctor Who Season 9 starts up next week and all our teenage Whovians are invited to attend our Doctor Who Party on September 14 at 4 pm. Cosplay is encouraged, but not required. As are bananas. All teens 12-18 are welcome. Allons-y and Geronimo!

Doctor Who @ Your Library

Calling all Whovians!  If you’re a fan of Doctor Who, we mean you!  Join us in the library meeting room on Saturday, August 15, at 2:00 PM to celebrate Doctor Who Comics Day.  We will have fun activities and themed snacks!  Costumes are encouraged.  Get ready for the big day by checking out Doctor Who graphic novels or DVDs from the library.

Programs for Teens in November

Calling All Teen Whovians!

Doctor Who

Grab your sonic screwdrivers and get ready for a Doctor Who themed craft at the Kingwood Library.  This craft will take place on Monday, July 22nd at 3:00pm in the upstairs Conference Room.  Teens ages, 12-18, will get to make a perler bead TARDIS!  All materials are generously provided by FOLK, but supplies are limited.  Questions?  Call Leanne, YA Librarian, 281-360-6804

Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?

Does anybody really care? Yes! I do! Because I’m a sucker for time travel stories. Have been since I was a kid. I like watching the time traveler cope with a land in which the familiar is suddenly unfamiliar. And maybe they learn a thing or two along the way.
