New Memorial Benches

Thanks to more than one generous donation, we now have four benches in front of the library so that you can enjoy the leisure of reading outdoors. Many thanks to those who chose to honor the memory of the late Charles J. Eardley by contributing toward a bench, not to mention the Friends of Freeman Library and the estate of Jocelyn H. Lee for providing the others!

Spring Is In the Air

Yes Spring is finally here. Visit the Baldwin Boettcher Library and fill our "communitree" with a butterfly to celebrate the season.  Just come by the circulation desk at the front of the library and make a donation.  A butterfly with your name and/or words of choice will be placed upon the tree for all to see. Just like our wonderful patrons, donations are always welcome no matter what the season.  So we look forward to seeing you soon.  Don't forget to stop by the front desk and see our "communitree".

Book Donations in Katy

BookThe Katy Library would like to thank all the generous people who bring donations of books, DVDs, and more into the branch each week.  As you may know, our Friends of the Katy Library sells most of these donations in their annual sale to raise money for all of our library programs.  Without these funds, we couldn't have crafts, teen activities, summer performers, book bags, food for programs, and so much more.  We also sometimes add donations to the library's collection to replace worn and damaged copies.  If you're interested in either donating or participating with the Friends, drop in the library for more information.

Coming Soon!

Coming SoonThe Friends of the Library will be having a book sale on Saturday, December 3.  What can you do to help?  (1)  If you have any books, CDs or DVDs that are clean and in good condition, you can donate them to the Friends for the sale.  Donations are tax deductible.  (2)  You can volunteer to help set up the sale on Friday afternoon or work the sale on Saturday.
