Dystopian fiction

Celebrate Dystopian Novels!

Dystopian fiction was highlighted in this year's Gulf Coast Reads choice, Dog Stars by Peter Heller. As we come to the end of the Gulf Coast Reads month and approach Halloween, we have made classic and current dystopian fiction available by the checkout stations for you to enjoy or enjoy again. Browse the Adult fiction side and the Young Adult fiction side; remember the ones you read in school and the ones that are now part of our culture. From Fahrenheit 451 to 1984 to The Handmaid's Tale to new stories in which you haven't yet indulged your imagination, you'll find them there on our new display.
