Evening Book Club

The Page Turners

All the Page Turners are thankful for the benefits of the book club;  the camaraderie, intellectual discussions, idea sharing and best of all the warm friendships.

Book Club reads "Destiny of the Republic" for November!

There is still plenty of time to read our Book Club's selection for November,  Destiny of the Republic: a Tale of Madness, Medicine and the Murder of a President by Candice Millard.   All are welcome to join the lively discussion on Monday, November 17 at 7:00 PM.  Our Book Club meets on the third Monday of each month in the library Conference Room.  For more information, contact the library at 281-360-6804 or stop by the Adult Services desk on the 2nd floor.

Book Club reads "The Forgotten Garden" by Kate Morton

Join the Kingwood Library Book Club on a journey through generations and across continents as they read about two women who try to uncover their family's secret past in "The Forgotten Garden" by Kate Morton.  Our book group, which usually meets on the third Monday of the month, will meet on Monday evening, January 28, at 7:00 p.m. in the library Meeting Room.  All are welcome!

Movies to Books... Off to Read the Wizard!

The Kingwood Library Book Group starts off the New Year with a discussion of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by L. Frank Baum. Originally published in 1900, it was the first American fairy tale, stirring imaginations of young and old alike for over four generations. Come join us on Monday evening, January 23, at 7 pm in the library's meeting room for a lively discussion of this American classic!
