Sweet Evelina! It's Pelican Drawing at Aldine Library!

Join us at the Aldine Library on Thursday, October 1st at 4 PM as we kick off Gulf Coast Reads 2015 and this year's book selection: The Promise by Ann Weisgarber. We'll relive some of the music of the era by listening to a recording of Texas Dance-Hall tune "Sweet Evelina." Also, we will practice drawing pelicans- a sight commonly seen along the Texas Gulf Coast.

Come join us for fun and music!

Ronald McDonald in the House

Ronald McDonald was at the Aldine Library on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 25th. Ronald told jokes, performed magic tricks, and had both children and adults laughing. It was a fun time for all. Stay tuned for all of our summer events with our handy online calendar!
