Book Sale This Saturday!

Big Sale! Northwest library is having a Book Sale this Saturday, April 27, 2013.  Our Friends of the Library will be hosting this event.  Everyone is invited to come support your Northwest Library.

We have gently-used hardcover and paperback books, VHS tapes, CDs, DVDs and audio books, magazines of general interest such as National Geographic, Smithsonian, Texas Monthly, cooking or decorating magazines and select children's magazines.

Give yourself the gift of helping out your library as well as getting that so desired book at a bargain price.  Remember, funds collected go straight back to this library.

Our Trip To Panama!

Although our trip wasn't literally to Panama, we visited with Panama's culture here in our own library. This Past Saturday, November 17th, our good friend Nidya Pitti Granadino hosted a special Panamanian Children Traveling Art Expo. She brought art from the children of Panama and also showed different artifacts from her home country. We want to Thank Ms. Granadino for sharing her wonderful culture with us here at the Northwest Branch. If you missed it this year, check our Events Calendar for more of these great events. Happy Holidays!
