Friendly Reminder to Parents

Due to a special summer program, Twilight Tales (Family Storytime), will not be held this evening. Twilight Tales will resume next week, on Monday, July 27th.

Last week in storytime, I shared TumbleBook library collection.  Do you know that we also now have a digital magazine collection? This free service is provided for all ages; check it out!

With your HCPL library card and Flipster, read your favorite magazines on your computer, your Android or Apple tablet, or your Kindle Fire.  Download the free app and you can even save an issue to read later.

Shh... don't tell mom, we will be creating a special project for Mother's Day.

Children and their families are invited to join us on Monday, May 4th at 7 pm for a special craft opportunity. This program is open to all ages; parents will need to assist younger children with the craft. Supplies are limited.

Let the Fun Continue!

The end of the Summer Reading Program is near; don't forget to log your books and pick up the great prizes that you have earned!  The last day to log your reading is on Saturday: August 10th.

Thursday, August 15th @ 10:00 am

I want to thank everyone who has participated in our reading program this summer.  It has been so wonderful to see all of our friends and to assist you with finding books. However, the fun doesn't stop there because we have great programs for children of all ages throughout the year.

Trick or Treat Family Storytime for Halloween

Everyone is invited to bring their children to our 6:30 pm Family Storytime.  The Baldwin Boettcher Library will be hosting a trick or treat storytime.  Everyone will listen to a story, make a small craft and then follow the footsteps of the ghost and other characters throughout the library to trick or treat.  The BB staff is creating a safe place for children to discover the joy of trick or treating.  Come in costume.  Prizes will be awarded for several categories.  See you on Halloween, Wednesday, October 31st.
