Looking for a fun outing for the family on Saturday morning?  Join us at 11:00 am this Saturday, February 2 for Family Storytime.  This storytime features books, songs, and fingerplays.   We meet in the Children's Activity Space.   No tickets are needed for this program, so you can drop in after a late breakfast or right before an early lunch!

Looking for a fun Saturday morning outing to start the new year?  Join us on Saturday, January 5 at 11:00 am for Family Storytime.  This storytime is recommended for children of all ages.  It features books, songs, and fingerplays.   Best of all, no tickets are needed for this event.  Thank you to the Friends of Freeman Library for supporting this program though the years.

Family Storytime – Texans Recovering Together [5+] - Monday, July 30th at 7 PM

 

 

 

The Harris Center, a mental health organization, will be presenting a Family Storytime at the Parker Williams Branch Library that will be addressing the stress and worry that come with storms and hurricanes.

Please join us in the Library Community Room on Monday, July 30th at 7 PM.

Celebrate African-American History Month

Children and their families are invited to join a special program celebrating African-American History Month. We have many exciting activities planned including children's stories, a puppet show, and crafts highlighting the contribution of Black Americans in the United States. We will also enjoy a yummy treat and have a drawing for great prizes! 

When: Monday, February 5th @ 6:30 pm

This program is in place of Twilight Tales, and it will begin 30 minutes earlier than normal.

Planning to get out of the house and enjoy the milder weather this Saturday?  Drop on by the Children's Department at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 20 for Family Storytime.  We'll have stories, songs, and fingerplays for the whole family for about 30 minutes in the Children's Area.  You don't have to worry about getting a ticket for this program, just drop on in.   Thank you to the Friends of Freeman Library for supporting the creation of materials for this progam.
