Looking for a fun outing to start off your Saturday morning?  Bring the family over to the Children's Department for stories, songs, and fingerplays this Saturday, September 15 at 11:00 am.  No tickets are needed for this outing.   It lasts about 30 minutes.    

Family Storytime this Saturday, August 4 @ 11;00 AM

Looking for a family outing after your pancake breakfast?  Join us this Saturday, August 4 at 11:00 am for Family Storytime.   This Saturday storytime features books, songs, and fingerplays.  It is recommended for the whole family.   We meet in the seating area near the magazines.  No tiickets are needed for this program.  Thank you to the Friends of Freeman Library for supporting this program over the years.

Family Storytime – Texans Recovering Together [5+] - Monday, July 30th at 7 PM

 

 

 

The Harris Center, a mental health organization, will be presenting a Family Storytime at the Parker Williams Branch Library that will be addressing the stress and worry that come with storms and hurricanes.

Please join us in the Library Community Room on Monday, July 30th at 7 PM.

Looking for some family fun after eating your Saturday breakfast?  Join us at 11:00 am this Saturday, May 5 for Family Storytime.  This program is for the whole family.  It features stories, songs, and fingerplays.   No tickets are needed for this entertaining program.   We meet under the clock in the Children's Department.

Celebrate African-American History Month

Children and their families are invited to join a special program celebrating African-American History Month. We have many exciting activities planned including children's stories, a puppet show, and crafts highlighting the contribution of Black Americans in the United States. We will also enjoy a yummy treat and have a drawing for great prizes! 

When: Monday, February 5th @ 6:30 pm

This program is in place of Twilight Tales, and it will begin 30 minutes earlier than normal.

Family Storytime on Saturday,January 20 @ 11:00 am

Planning to get out of the house and enjoy the milder weather this Saturday?  Drop on by the Children's Department at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 20 for Family Storytime.  We'll have stories, songs, and fingerplays for the whole family for about 30 minutes in the Children's Area.  You don't have to worry about getting a ticket for this program, just drop on in.   Thank you to the Friends of Freeman Library for supporting the creation of materials for this progam.

Start the New Year with Family Storytime on Saturday, January 6 at 11:00 am

You can kick off the new year with a tradition of attending Family Storytime starting this Saturday, January 6 at 11:00 am.   This fun storytime is held on the first and third Saturdays of the month.  It is recommended for children from infants through preschool as well as the whole family.   It features stories, songs, and fingerplays and lasts about 30 minutes.  No tickets are needed for this program.  It is held in the Children's Department near the magazine area.  Thank you to the Friends of Freeman Library for their support for this program.

Families looking for something exciting to do on a Saturday morning are invited to join us for Family Storytime on this Saturday, December 2 at 11:00 am.  We'll have fun stories, songs, and fingerplays.   We meet for about 30 miintues in the Children's Department.  No tickets are needed for this family outing.  Thank you to the Friends of Freeman Library for this program throughout the year.
