New Leaf Gardeners in the Children's Area!

After a very cold and icy Winter, the Library garden outside of the Children's Activity room is ready for Spring planting!  At New Leaf Gardeners, this Thursday (2/22) at 5 pm, children ages 7 - 12  can come and learn about soil, composting and help plant some vegetables.  New Leaf Gardeners meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month during the Spring and early Summer season. In addition to planting fruits, vegetables and herbs, children will complete fun gardening projects, learn how to tend to the garden and make yummy recipes using items they've helped grow!  No green thumb is needed, but registration is required by calling 832-559-4235.
