Barbara Bush & Northwest Libraries Awarded Grants from North Harris County American Association of University Women

We would like to thank the American Association of University Women - North Harris County Branch for the generous grants it has awarded the Barbara Bush and Northwest branch libraries. The $1500 grant Barbara Bush Branch received will go toward expanding the library's early reader collection. Northwest Branch received the Special Award in Memory of Dr. Massy Williams. The grant which reflects Dr. Williams' passion for science, will fund the library's Discover & Build Bots program. Discover and Build Bots actually consists of two programs, one for children, grades 3 – 5, and the other for teens and tweens, grades 6 -12.
