Paige Carpenter Exhibiting in Room L-129

The staff of LSC-Tomball Community Library are thrilled that Children’s Services Specialist Paige Carpenter is exhibiting her work here in Room L-129 during the month of May.

Paige graduated with honors from Florida State University.  She currently lives in Texas in the company of many books. She loves Norse mythology, reading, gardening, and of course, creating art.

Paige aspires to become the illustrator of children’s books. She works in watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and graphite, and in our meeting room this month we feature a collection of her graphite drawings.

You can see more of her work on her website at

Debra Hayden Drawings in Room L-129

Debra Hayden, having now finished her year as a teacher and having had a chance to breathe, has hung her latest set of gouache, pastel, and graphite pieces in Room L-129 opposite Malvine Wolf's collages. She is a realistic artist who tries to convey the spiritual essence of her subjects. I think you'll get a sense of that in the lovely image at left.
