Barbara Bush Library Loses a Friend

Longtime Houston Golf Association board member Paul Wahlberg passed away Monday (May 24) at the skilled nursing care facility where he had lived since the fall of 2004. Wahlberg served the HGA for over 50 years and was accorded the honor of "board member for life."  Wahlberg was a past Tournament Chairman of the Shell Houston Open (1970) and served for many years as the head of what was then known as the Charity Selection Committee for HGA. An architect by profession, Wahlberg became identified with the organization's penchant for community service and charitable giving.
