International Space Station Model Donation

The Galveston Bay Area Scale Modelers Association recently contributed to the Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch library a highly-accurate 1:144 scale model of the International Space Station that they assembled and detailed over the course of several months.  The model will be permanently on display in the library rotunda once a custom-built case is acquired.  Members noted that each inch of the model represents 12 feet of the actual station.  Pictured left to right are GBASMA members Mark Lardas, Ed Rains, Ren Faulk, Will Stager, Fitz Walker, Kevin Beard, Doug Bristol, and Don White.  Not pictured: Dan Slade, John Rivers, Dave Alexander, and Karl Bollmann.
