What is next on your list?

What are you reading this summer?  Do you have some titles tucked away in gleeful anticipation of curling up in a quiet spot and loosing yourself for a long while?  No matter your location I hope you have books, lots of them.  At all times I have multiple books going.  I’m always listening to one in my car and have several stashed in different locations so I am covered no matter where I am.   It takes a lot of books to feed this hobby of mine.  I tell my husband I have to read for professional development, but  I don’t think he really buys it.  This summer I have been listening to Linda Howard’s novels in my car, I don’t care which story you pick they are all fantastic.  I recently read a new for me author, Lauren Dane, who just sizzles!   I read her Brown Siblings series and believe me I will be reading more of her stories.   I also just finished reading Kat Martin’s Raines of Wind C...

The Raines of Wind Canyon

Kat Martin has been a favorite of mine for a long time. The Raines of Wind Canyon is a terrific series of romantic suspense stories plus  they are pretty steamy at times.  I really like her writing style, she is easy to read and her stories pull me in from the start.  Everything flows really well.  I like spending my time with her characters, and I miss them when they’re gone.  Against the Edge, the newest in this series, will be released at the end of April. It does not disappoint.  Ben and Claire are on the hunt for Ben’s child Sam, who has been abducted by some not-so-nice guys. The twists and turns and ups and downs make for another fun ride.  You have time to catch up on other titles in this series while you wait.

Raines of Wind Canyon

Currently I am hooked on Kat Martin’s Raines of Wind Canyon series.  I had Against the Wind in my “waiting to be read” stack and for whatever reason I kept passing it over.  I finally picked it up and it did not take long for me to be hooked!  The series is set in Wyoming and Arizona and it is about the Raines brothers who despite their rough beginnings turn into successful and honorable men.  If you are a fan of Linda Lael Miller’s works you will enjoy this series.
