Opera to Go!

Come and join us on Wednesday, April 24 at 4 pm for the Houston Grand Opera's perform the Opera to Go! production of Daniel and the Dream Catcher.  This program is for all ages so come and enjoy a fabulous performance.

 

 

Let The Games Begin

It’s almost time for Game Day Frenzy and we are starting things a bit early this year. We will have Game Day Frenzy on a biweekly basis starting March 13th and continuing through May 22nd. The program will be held in the meeting room from 4:00 - 5:00 pm.  All are encouraged to stop by and play some games.  If you have any suggestions for ipad or ps2 games, leave a comment below.

Holiday Art

Have you seen the recent additions to our public bulletin board?  Next time you stroll through the lobby, take a moment and appreciate the colorfully decorated reindeer, snowman, and gingerbread houses of our artistic young patrons.  We will continue to put up any holiday or winter themed works brought to us throughout the remainder of the year.  Coloring pages are still available and although space is limited, we will display all submissions.  Happy Holidays! 

Quadropus!

We're getting ready for Halloween @ Bear Creek!  We'll be having a big party on Halloween this year starting at 3pm!  Until then check our Events Calendar and come see our meeting room decorations during any of the programs all month long.

Movies have just begun in this sparkling movie directed by Martin Scorsese.  This magical adventure of a boy who doesn't want to truly say goodbye to his father is sure to make hearts melt or in this case start ticking away.  Join us on Wednesday, July 18th at 3:30 pm for this "inventive" edition of the PG & Up program.

Return of the Snake Man!

Get ready for The Snake Man!  Join us for this special even on Tuesday, June 5 at 3:00pm and 4:00pm!  Space is limited and the Snake Man is incredibly popular so come an hour early to get your tickets into the program.  Last year was a blast  and there were many slithery and creepy crawly pals for your kids to meet!  This program is kids who have completed Kindergarten up to about 12 years old. 

Stuart Little on Stage

stuart little flierPlanning out your summer activities?  Then be sure and include “Stuart Little" on stage at Lone Star College-CyFair.  Adapted by Joseph Robinette and based on the book by E.B. Whte, this is the endearing classic about a mouse named Stuart who is born into an ordinary New York family. The many adventures – both big and small – of Stuart Little are brought vividly to life in the story-theatre presentation.

It’s fun for the whole family and all tickets are only $5!

Art Car Time!

It's time for the annual Houston Art Car Parade.  Join us in the Kid's Zone at Sam Houston Park this Saturday, May 12 at 11 am for lots of crafts and fun, not to mention HCPL's own Art Carts!
