Electronic reading and listening devices are big on Santa’s list these days. If you received one or thought you’d like to buy one with gift money you received, we have classes here this month to help you discover and learn to download electronic library books. All classes will take place in the computer lab on the second floor, Room L 216.
Nook Session: This Saturday, January 5, from 2-4 pm the class will focus on how to use a Nook.
Overview Class: Next Wednesday, January 9th, 2-4 pm, we’ll be offering an overview class in using iPads, Kindles, and Nooks (and lesser-known devices.)
iPad Session: Saturday, January 12th, 2-4 pm. The class will focus on using the Apple iPad and its library apps.
Kindle Session: Saturday, January 19, 2-4 pm, as you guessed, is for Kindle users.
Tech Tutors: On Monday and Tuesday, January 14th and 15th, two of our techie library staff will be available in the main floor of the library, at the circular table just inside the entrance, to answer your random questions. Bring your device with you and get past that problem you haven't been able to solve!
