2015 Project Pumpkin Votes Are In!

The votes are counted for Freeman Library's 2015 Project Pumpkin.  Children and grown-ups cast 433 votes over the past week for 9 pumpkins.  The pumpkins were generously donated by the Bay Forest Kroger and they were decorated by staff and their relatives.   This year's winners: First Place - "Shaun the Sheep", Second Place - "Minion", and Third Place - "Mario".     Thank you for all the pumpkin decorators who helped make the Children's Department more festive and for all the children and adults who excitedly talked about their favorite pumpkin (if they could choose just one...).

Donate Someone Else’s Money!

You can help pay for library materials and programs with someone else’s money!  All you have to do is get a Kroger cashier to scan your Kroger Plus card and the Friends of the Fairbanks Library’s barcode.  After that, when you use your Kroger Plus card, the Friends will earn points for an annual check from Kroger.  Please ask the library staff for the Friends' barcode.  Kroger PlusPlusKroger BarcodeEquals
