Everything is Awesome at LEGO Club

At the last LEGO Club the challenge was to fill a cup with LEGO bricks that you pick from the pools then build LEGO CLUBsomething useful using all the LEGO bricks that are in your cup.  There were some pretty cool creations.  Next, we took it all apart and combined with the other builders at the table to create something even better because we were working together.  Take a look at what the kids created.  Want to join the fun?  T

LEGO Club Challenge 3

For this challenge we focused on  games.  We went back to the 12 by 12 plates, but this time we created a marble maze.  The maze could start from the outside and end on the outside or start from the outside and end in the middle.  Everyone got super creative and added bridges, arches, caves, jumps and more.  Next, everyone got a chess piece as inspiration to create that piece out of LEGO for our chess game board. The finished product was awesome!  We had a drawing for Lego movie posters and mini-figs and you can look forward to a similar drawing next time.  Come to our next meeting Saturday, February 22nd from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm we will build something awesome!
