LEGO Robotics Camp

Lego Robotics Camp Drawing Registration begins Friday, January 12 and runs through Saturday, January 20

The LEGO Robotics Camp returns to Freeman Library on four Saturdays in February (2/3, 2/10, 2/17, and 2/24).  This fun and free camp is recommended for children 7-11 years old who like to play with Legos.   The children will learn math, science, and robotics concepts as well as cooperation as they work in pairs or small groups to put together LEGO projects each week.

Spaces are limited for this camp, so we hava a drawing for spaces.   Registration for the drawing begins this Friday, January 12 through Saturday, January 20.  The registration forms will be at the Kids Information Desk.   Thank you to the Friends of Freeman Library for supporting this program through the years.

LEGO Robotics Camp Drawing Registration is extended to Tuesday, September 19

We've extended the deadline for registering for the drawing for spots in the fall 2017 LEGO Robotics Camp to this Tuesday, September 19.   This free camp is for children 7-11 years old.  It runs on the four Saturdays in Ocotber (10/7,10/14,10/21 and 10/28).  We have a registration box at the Kids Information Desk.   Freeman is open until 9 pm tonight and 10-6pm on Tuesday.

LEGO Robotics Camp Drawing Registration starts Saturday, September 9 and runs through Saturday, September 16

Looking for something for your 7-11 year old to do on Saturdays this October?  The LEGO Robotics Camp returns on the four Saturdays in October:10/7,10/14,10/21 and 10/28.  This free camp meets weekly in the Children's Activity Space for 90 minutes.  The children use their listening and cooperation skills as they work in pairs to create fun LEGO projects.  A teacher explains the science and engineering concepts in the projects and teen volunteers assist the children when needed.

Due to space limits, we hold a drawing for spots in the camp.  Children can register for the drawing at the Kids Information Desk starting this Saturday, September 9 through Saturday, September 16.  Children whose names are drawn will be notified by Friday, September 22.
