Texas Snakes @ the Library

* Tickets required

Snakes in the library? You bet!  This is a great opportunity for children to learn why we need snakes in our environment and what to do if they see a snake.

According to Texas A & M University, "The great state of Texas is home to 37 different species of snakes, and
surprisingly, only four of those are venomous."

Support Your Library

Our funding comes from the state as well as the county, so if you’ve been well served by the library in the past year, please tell your state representatives. They need to hear from you so they can advocate for library services as they go into budget sessions.

To find out who represents you, use the QR code to the left or  click on this link: http://www.house.state.tx.us/members/find-your-representative/ and put in your residential address.

A big thanks from us.

Help Us Celebrate the Holiday Season

Now, that our Christmas tree is up, we need help decorating it.  Families are invited to stop by the library to create a Christmas ornament for our tree.  Materials will be available during business hours. While you are at the library check out our holiday books.
