Mystery Book Club takes a break!

The Baldwin Boettcher Mystery Book Club will take a break for the Summer.  As we are getting ready for the children to come into the library for the summer, our reduction in staff and limited budget means we need more time to get things done.  Bonnie will be helping with the Summer Reading Program and needs a little time to devote to creating some of this programming.  We will resume again in September when the children are back in school.

Just bring a favorite author that you discovered over the summer or have always liked.  We will discuss what topic we want for October and have a little snack.  It is always good to have a little food with our discussion.  So take a little break, explore some new authors or revisit your friends and we will see you on September 21st at 2 pm.

Mysteries take a look at the Universities.

The Baldwin Boettcher Branch Library Mystery Book Club will take a look at our Universities through the eyes of murder, intrigue and mayhem.  Does your favorite book take place at a University?  Did Professor Plum get murdered after his lecture in the library?  Find a book that has a setting, theme or character from an University and bring it to our Mystery Book Club.  Present it to the group so we may expand our reading experiences.  Join the Mystery Book Club on September 15th at 2 pm.  We always have a good time talking about our favorite authors, books and of course food.  Help us decide which subject will be good for October.  See you on the 15th of September at 2 pm.
