March/April Teen Newsletter

 

The March/April 2010 edition of the Teen Newsletter is now available and features Teen Tech Week.  Teen Tech Week is March 7 - 13, 2010 and the theme this year is Learn, Create, Share @ your Library

There is also an interview with Arwen Meador, Assistant Branch Librarian at the Octavia Fields Branch Library as well as a list of some of the new materials added to the Young Adult collection at Harris County Public Library.

February/March Kids Newsletter

The February/March edition of the Kids Newsletter is available and features interviews with Akhila Bhat of the Barbara Bush Branch Library and Ms. Anna of the Katherine Tyra @ Bear Creek Branch Library.  Both of these ladies love their jobs and really enjoy presenting programs for the kids in their communities.

There is also an announcement for the upcoming Read Across America Day on March 2 which will be celebrated at all of the Harris County Branch Libraries.  And there is a list of some of the new Children's books and audio that we have recently added to our collection.

October/November Kids Newsletter

The October/November issue of the Kids Newsletter is available and features interviews with Miss Jen of the Stratford Branch Library and Mrs. V of the CyFair College Branch library.  There is also an article about the Coretta Scott King Award and a list of some of the new Children's books and audio we have added to our collection. 

September/October Teen Newsletter

The September/October issue of the Teen Newsletter features Teen Read Week and an interview with the new Young Adult Librarian at the Katherine Tyra Branch Library.  You will also find a list of some of the new books and audio added to our Young Adult collection.

 

September/October Issue of the Kids Newsletter

The September/October 2009 Issue of the Kids Newsletter is now available!  This issue features interviews with Miss Chrissy of the Tomball College & Community Library and Mr. D of the LaPorte Community Library. 

The Kids Newsletter is published every other month and features articles about children's programming at Harris County Public Library along with staff interviews and a list of new children's books and audio we have added to our collections.
