Native Americans of Texas Presentation @ your library

Join us as we Celebrate Native American Heritage Month in this Friday's under50over program. Area resident David Brittan will talk to us about some of the original people of Texas.

This will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor of the library. The presentation will begin at 10:30 am. Please contact the Reference Desk at (281) 488-1906 or visit us on the Second Floor for more information. Refreshments are provided by the Friends of Freeman.

November's "Adult Crafts-to-Go!" Project

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library offers the continuation of its “Adult Crafts to Go” program.

The craft project for November is a friendship bracelet (such as the one in the photograph to the left ). This project can be requested at the Second Floor Reference Desk. Once received, this project can be taken anywhere and made anywhere.

WWII - Tales of an 8th Air Force Pilot @ your library

John B. Lee will be speaking at this Friday's under50over program. He will be sharing his experience as a World War II 8th Air Force Pilot.This presentation is sponsored by both The University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL) and The Clear Lake Association of Senior Programs (CLASP).

The under50over program will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room (the Meeting Room) on the first floor of the library. The presentation will begin at 10:30 am.

Light refreshments are provided by the Friends of Freeman.

under50over @ your library in November

Calling Adults of All Ages!

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library highly anticipates the continuation of the under50over Program in November. The schedule of events for November 2010 is to the left.* In November, under50over will host presentations on World War II and Native Americans in Texas. Additionally, there will be a Movie Day.

All presentations except for Movie Day start at 10:30 am each Friday morning. On Movie Days, under50over begins promptly at 10:15 am. Movie Days usually take place on the last Friday of the month. Programs normally meet in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor. The light refreshments are compliments of the Friends of Freeman.
