Anti-Valentine's Day Celebration

black rose

There was a Valentine celebration of sorts for teens at the Aldine Library on the afternoon Thursday, February 7th- an anti-Valentine celebration to be exact. Homemade, miniature catapults flung candy hearts. Black roses were crafted.  A piñata was broken and candy enjoyed. Why? To celebrate unrequited love and broken heartedness!

It was a memorable afternoon.
