Date of meeting: Thursday, Feb. 25, 1:30pm in the Earl Elliott meeting room [repeated Friday, Feb. 26, 2:30pm in the Women's Council of Realtors Conference Room]. Summary: This novel is about several generations of strong Texas women, based upon the lives of Windle's own ancestors. A tour of the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts will follow each discussion, including  the Wilson Potters exhibit....

New Book Club Premieres July 1

A cooperative effort between the Barbara Bush Library and the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts begins tomorrow with the first session of the "Pen and Paintbrush Book Club." This group will meet during each exhibition cycle at the museum, and will include a museum tour, a discussion of a classic book tied to the exhibition theme, a viewing of a related film, and one or more special lectures.
