Project Peep and Pokémon at North Channel

Project peepProject Peep is still underway at North Channel Branch Library. Baby chicks are now 7 days old and growing fast. Stop by the display case near the front desk to see them grow and play.
If you can't make it by the library, you can follow "harriscountypl" on YouTube to watch live feed.
Today "Natu" from Pokémon Go decided to hang with the baby chicks and we were able to snap a picture. Pokémon Club will be March 25th at 3 PM.
Check the online calendar for other upcoming events.

Train On at the Tomball Library!

Pokémon has become all the rage again with the release of Pokémon Go on Android and iOS. The game utilizes GPS location throughout the world to make a virtual playground for Pokémon. A lot of those Pokémon are appearing right here at our library.

Feel free to stop in for one of our many programs during the week and maybe grab a rare Pokémon while you're here. Or, you could battle one of the three 'gyms' right here on campus. Just make sure to play safely and follow the rules. If you're a pedestrian, please look away from your phone at roadways and in parking lots and look out for vehicles. When the library closes (at 9 p.m.) please refrain from wandering the campus. The campus itself closes at 10 pm.

Pokémon Go @ HCPL

If you're looking for a safe and air-conditioned place to catch some Pokémon, several Harris County Public Library branches are stops, and others are gyms or have gyms nearby. Below is a handy table showing where and how you can get your game on, as well as some useful links.
