Citizen's Police Academy

Police car courtesy of Clker.comThe Katy Police Department is offering a Citizen’s Police Academy class for City of Katy residents. This is a 10-week training opportunity for citizens who desire to gain a unique understanding of the policies and procedures of the Katy Police Department. Classes start on February 21, 2019 and will meet on every Thursday night from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., followed by a graduation ceremony upon completion of training on May 9, 2019. Touch A Truck [All Ages] - Saturday, June 2nd at 10 AM

The Parker Williams Branch Library will be hosting its first Touch A Truck event on Saturday June 2nd from 10 Am to 1 PM in the east parking lot.

The Harris County Public Library Curiosity Cruiser will be on site. We will have the our local Precinct 2 Constables and Southeast Volunteer Fire Fighters vehicles and personnel to visit with.

We will also have our local Civil Air Patrol squadron from Ellington Field with their emergency services equipment.

Last but not least, Texas Pride Disposal will have a garbage truck here.
