Voters Guide @ Your Library

The League of Women Voters of Houston Education Fund makes available the LWV Voters Guide at the North Channel Branch Library. This nonpartisan election material in newspaper format includes "Things Voters Should Know" about the candidates running for office in the Election.  Please pick up your copy from the newspaper rack inside the Library.  For more information, you may go to www.lwvhouston.org

Election Day for Primary Voting - March 4th

Tuesday, March 4th, is Primary Election Day from 7 am to 7 pm. In the City of Galena Park, Democrats and Republicans will vote at separate locations. Democrats will vote at Galena Park City Hall - 2000 Clinton Drive. Republicans will vote at the Galena Park Library- 1500 Keene Street. Election Day for Primary Voting - March 4th

Tuesday, March 4th, is Primary Election Day from 7 am to 7 pm. For this particular Election, there will be no voting at the North Channel Library. Precinct 0460 voters who normally would vote at the North Channel Library will be voting at two separate locations, depending on your political party affiliation. Democrats will vote at: Tice Elementary School - 14120 Wallisville Rd., Houston, TX 77049. Republicans will vote at: Sheldon Elementary School - 17203 Hall Shepperd Rd., Houston TX 77049. Primary Elections March 2

Ballot boxDemocratic and Republican primary elections will be held on March 2.  Early voting ends February 26.  Your Harris County libraries have 3 election-related resources for you: the League of Women Voters (nonpartisan) Voters Guide, sample ballots, and early voting locations.  These resources are also available over the internet using the links in the previous sentence.  Voters will cast ballots for all 32 U.S.
