Summer Reading

Our TEAM READ Summer Reading Program has come to a close!  Katy Branch had excellent participation this year, but there are still many of you who haven't come in to claim your prizes!

There is still time!  All participants have until August 20, 2016 to enter all books read or activities completed and come to the library to claim your prize!  That's right!  7 more days!

We would like to thank everyone for their participation in our reading program and participating in our various programs over the summer.  How many programs did you attend?  Which one was your favorite?  Is there something you would like to see for next year?  Let us know!

Exercise Your Talents… Volunteer! Fair

Are you interested in exercising your talents as well as your mind? We want to give you a chance to help make Katy and the surrounding area a little better for your neighbors. We will be hosting our 2nd annual Volunteer Fair tomorrow, Saturday, August 6 at 10 AM to 2 PM. Come visit the different groups in the area looking for people to help out. Not only will people from the library itself be there, but we will have representatives from BARC, Katy Christian Ministries, Pregnancy Help Center, Meals on Wheels, Eternal Food Ministries, and more!

Come visit at least 15 vendors and get a chance to win 2 tickets to the Alamo Drafthouse. Visit ALL the vendors and win a copy of Daniel Silva’s new book The English Spy (while supplies last).

Give back to the community that has given so much to us!

Team Read

Our Team Read Summer Reading Program is quickly coming to an end!

Don't worry!  The Katy Branch still has plenty of prizes left for your super readers!

If you haven't reached your goal yet, don't worry!  There are still 2 weeks left to finish up, log your books and activiities and come in to get your prize!

See you soon!
