Dragoneers With Miss Connie During Spring Break

If you have been wondering what Dragoneers is all about, here's your chance:  they will be meeting during Spring  Break, Thursday, March 14, at 4 pm in the Children's Activity Room. The Dragoneers meet, then march around the Children's Area, discuss which book they have been reading, hear a story read by Miss Connie, make a craft, and have a snack. 

Holiday Crafts for Kids

The Kingwood Garden Club is coming to help children make some ornaments in the Children's Activity Room on Monday, November 19, at 4 pm.

The Kingwood Library will be closed November 21 through November 25 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Return of the Snake Man!

Get ready for The Snake Man!  Join us for this special even on Tuesday, June 5 at 3:00pm and 4:00pm!  Space is limited and the Snake Man is incredibly popular so come an hour early to get your tickets into the program.  Last year was a blast  and there were many slithery and creepy crawly pals for your kids to meet!  This program is kids who have completed Kindergarten up to about 12 years old.

Hispanic Heritage Month @ Your Library

Hispanic Heritage MonthIn honor of the diverse cultures that comprise Harris County, the Harris County Public Library and its branches will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month starting September 15 and running through October 15. Programs, activities and displays will be offered at branches throughout Harris County.

Harris County continues to be shaped by, and to benefit from, its vibrant Hispanic community. Harris County Public Library hopes to educate, inform and entertain the citizens of Harris County during this month celebrating the contributions of Hispanics to the cultural and economic life of our nation.
