Children's Weekly Run-Down

CHILDREN’S WEEKLY RUN-DOWN! The new year starts off with a bang! Join us this week on Thursday the 12th of January @ 4 PM for our World Tour Book Club to explore different countries and their traditions and stories. We also have WeDo robotics classes scheduled for Friday and Saturday*.

Our Story times continue as normal! Be here for Toddler Time** on Tuesday @ 10 AM and @ 10:30 AM, Preschool Storytime on Tuesday @ 2 PM, and Infant Lapsit Storytime @ 11:15 AM on Tuesday and @ 11 AM on Thursday. We also have our Family Storytime presented on Saturday @ 10:30 where you can enjoy stories and a craft!

*Online registration required

**Tickets required upon entry. Pick up your free ticket at the Children's Reference Desk before entering your story time. Tickets will be given to the first 30 children and their caregivers the day of the scheduled event.

Hispanic Heritage Month @ Your Library

Hispanic Heritage MonthIn honor of the diverse cultures that comprise Harris County, the Harris County Public Library and its branches will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month starting September 15 and running through October 15. Programs, activities and displays will be offered at branches throughout Harris County.

Harris County continues to be shaped by, and to benefit from, its vibrant Hispanic community. Harris County Public Library hopes to educate, inform and entertain the citizens of Harris County during this month celebrating the contributions of Hispanics to the cultural and economic life of our nation.
