The Dragoneers Club Returns!

The Kingwood Library welcomes the return of the Dragoneers Club for school-age children. It will meet on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 4 pm. The first meeting will be Thursday, September 9th in the Children's Activity Room. At sign-up, they will get a free book and a Dragoneers t-shirt. After learning about Dragoneers and how to earn ranks such as varlet, page, squire, and knight, we will share our favorite books. The books can be fiction, non-fiction or picture books. On the fourth Thursday of each month, the Dragoneers will have an activity, craft or program. Come join the fun.

Mystery Book Club sees Red, White and Blue

For our July Mystery Club we will be discussing mysteries with the red, white and blue theme.  This could be better known as the "patriotic theme".  As you know we are not too strict on our interpretation of what you need to read.  This book club is all about getting together, making friends and discussing why we like or do not like a book we have read.  Others in the club give us ideas of the books they liked and maybe we would like to read them also.  So come join us on July 21st at 2 pm.  This way you will be able to help us decide the theme for August.
