I don't know about you all, but I'm a couch potato, and I like running about as much as I like getting a root canal. I might even go as far as saying I loathe it. I often joke that the only time I will voluntarily run is if I'm being chased by an ax-wielding maniac. I've tried running before, but the shin splints I get are indescribably painful. As much as I detest it though, running/jogging is still one of the best ways to lose weight and get in shape. So, it's time for me to get past the loathing, pain, whining, complaining, pain, excuses, pain, did I mention pain?, and get off the couch.
