SAGE: A Morning of Calligraphy

On Tuesday, December 4th, Mr. Munther Yusuf- an accomplished Master Calligrapher from the Islamic Art Society-was at Kingwood Library to present the SAGE course on calligraphy. Participants learned about the tools of the trade- including bamboo pens- and practiced their own calligraphy!

SAGE: "Let's Cook" in a Instant Pot!

On Tues 11/13, Ms. Maria Riveras was at the Kingwood Library for a SAGE program. She gave tips and techniques on how to cook with an Instant Pot. Later, she prepared turkey meat balls in a delicious tomato- based sauce using an Instant Pot. Everyone enjoyed a sample of the food.
