Changing Your Life...

What if you changed the way you live now? What would you do? Would the change be drastic - like taking advice from a popularity guide written in the 1950s,  not using a mirror for a year, or adding bugs to your diet? Maybe you would do something less extreme. Ever wonder what would happen if you took the SAT now? What score would you get as an adult?

SAT Practice Test

College aspirants: you can take the free Practice SAT Test here at the library.

The TEST will happen Saturday, July 23rd from 10:15 am to 2:15 pm in room L-129.

The SCORE ANALYSIS will happen Wednesday, July 27th from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in room L-129.

Pre-registration is required, either at a Reference desk, or by calling 832-559-4213.

The name of the SAT Reasoning Test has changed over time, but the fact that most colleges in the U.S. require this standardized test for admission, has not changed.

The current SAT Reasoning Test was introduced in 2005, takes 3 3/4 hours to finish, costs $49.00, and requires pre-registration. It has three sections: Math, Critical Reading (formerly called 'Verbal'), and Writing. Each section has a possible 800 points for a total of 2400 points.

For further information you can check the website of the College Board, the organization that administers the test, at this link.
