Wednesday, July 17th at 7 PM – Sci-Fi Family Trivia Night [8 to Adult]

 

 

From Jules Verne to current, science fiction is a genre that people the world over like to escape into. 

Have your family join us at 7 PM on June 19th for Sci-Fi Trivia Night at the Parker Williams Library.

Each team can have a maximum of six people, and the winning team gets a prize in this pub style quiz.

The quiz will start at 7 PM on Wednesday, July 17th in the Library Community Room.

We’ll put your knowledge to the test, so do your best!

Thursday, July 11th at 2 PM – SciFi Feature – The Last Starfighter (PG; 101 min) [10+]
Thursdays at 2 PM in the Parker Williams Library Community Room, we will be featuring a different Science Fiction movie for kids each week. Here is a description of this week’s feature:

Nebula Award Nominees Announced

The Nebula Awards are the most prestigious honors for fantasy and science fiction, and are voted on by members of Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, Inc. On February 21, the nominees were announced. Read them all by June 7 when the winner is revealed! Below are the Nebula nominees for novel:
