If, on the other hand, you said no then too this program will be great for you since you’ll have fun with some cool stuff. So come join us for a very special Family Science Program on April 19th 2014 @ 11 AM in the Robin Bush Activity Room. You’ll learn and have fun at the same! How, you ask? Come and find out!

Sound Sound Everywhere

Thunder, music, horns or even firecrackers have something in common. Can you guess what? I HEAR it! Yes, it’s sound. We constantly are hearing or listening to something or the other at all times of the day (or the night). Let’s get more familiar with how sound is produced and how it travels.

Come and join us for our Silly Science program- Sensational Sound on Tuesday, September 10th at 4:30 PM. The event will be held in the Robin Bush Activity Room.

And while you are here check out some of the books on experiments with Sounds in the Harris County Public Library system.

Pepperoni and Worms Please!!! Monday, July 1st @ 3:30 pm

* Free Tickets Required

Tracing the origins of pizza as an example, this hands-on presentation illustrates the importance of "dirt" to kids, showing that we would all starve without healthy soil. We use hand puppets, pizza ingredients, and tubs of compost with live earthworms, beetles, & snails to prove our points. We finish up with live, dirt-loving box turtles. This will be a fun hands on program for children.

Todays program will require tickets.
