Business Success Seminars: The Fall Lineup

If you haven’t been to our free business seminars, consider this as advance notice of a good thing. HCPL, in partnership with Lone Star College Tomball and the Lone Star Small Business Development Center, are offering three more Friday sessions to improve profits in your business. This fall they will be held in the library’s meeting room, L 129, at 1:30 p.m. after the Chamber of Commerce lunch meeting the first Friday of September, October, and November. (The Chamber meets in the Beckendorf Center in the East Building of the College.) No registration is needed; just drop in and profit!
Here’s our exciting line up:

Marketing to the Hispanic Community

LSC-Tomball Community Library and the Lone Star College Small Business Development Center proudly begin a third season of Business Success Seminars Friday, March 1st with Maria Tapias, Group Account Director with Lopez Negrete Communications. Tapias will light up the new season with a seminar about Marketing to the Hispanic Community.

Lopez Negrete Communications is an independent, Hispanic owned and operated full service agency specializing in Hispanic marketing. As Tapias remarks, the Hispanic community is "...a world all its own, with different textures and tastes, rhythms and hues."

This year's Business Success seminars are especially timed to begin right after each monthly Chamber of Commerce meeting, a meeting that takes place the first Friday of the month in the Beckendorf Center in the East Building of LSC-Tomball. The seminars will happen just around the corner in Room E178. There is no registration and no registration fee for the seminars, and everyone is welcome. That's 2:15 p.m., Friday, March 1st.

Pain? Fatigue?

If you are always tired, you feel like you wake up 100 times during the night, and you have aches and pains all over your body, you MAY have fibromyalgia. On Monday, October 19, at 6:30 pm, Dr. Sammy Tao will conduct a workshop at the Fairbanks Library about the symptoms of fibromyalgia and various ways to treat them. It’s free, so why not come? Call the library at (713) 466-4438 to let us know if you plan to come.
