TGIF Programs Friday Film Series - This Friday!

The TGIF Programs Friday Film Series continues Friday at 10:15 AM! We look forward to showing, The Italian Job, the 2003 action crime film starring Mark Wahlberg, Edward Norton, and Charlize Theron.

Registration Opens Tomorrow for 5/11 Senior Adult Trip!

If you are at least 55 years old, then we hope you will consider joining us for a day trip on Thursday, May 11. The Precinct2gether bus will depart from the Freeman Library parking lot. Please plan for plenty of walking and wear comfortable, rubber-soled shoes.

We will visit the Houston Police Department Museum (1200 Travis St/Houston, TX 77002) and the Buffalo Soldiers Museum (3816 Caroline St, /Houston, TX 77004). We will enjoy self-guided tours of both museums.

We’ll dine at Hickory Hollow - Heights Restaurant (101 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77007). Each participant will be responsible for the cost of their own meal.

Adults - Don't Miss the Cake in the Cup Food Demo this Friday Morning! Join us as Jennifer Trusty, Young Adult Services Librarian, instructs us on how to make this tremendous treat, a mud cake in a mug. All ingredients and cooking ware will be provided for this Maker program supported by the Friends of Freeman Library.
