Teen Textiles is Back!

Teens can learn how to sew with Creativity Shell. At 4:15 PM, on Wednesdays, from September 28 through December 14, teens can learn how to use a sewing machine and work on their own project! This class is for beginners.

Permission slips AND registration are required. Register once for the semester; the deadline to register is September 28. The class is limited to 18 students. For teens and tweens grades 6-12 only. Call 281-360-6804 to register.

Get program updates sent straight to your phone by texting @kwteens to 81010. Service is free and confidential; standard text message rates apply.

Needle and Thread Club time change

The Needle and Thread Club will be starting one half-hour earlier at 1:30 to allow mom's to be able to pick up their children at school.  Bring your project to work on.  May it be crochet, knitting, cross stitch, embroidery or hand sewing to share thoughts, skills and ideas with others who like to still do craft work.

Needle and Thread

Adults, do you like to sew? The Aldine Library is starting up a Needle and Thread Club on Tuesdays of each week at 2 PM. Bring your sewing materials. We'll learn, share, and have fun!

National Sewing Month

September is National Sewing Month. I have a book display of sewing books for beginners, those more advanced and crafters. There are also ideas for Halloween costumes and Christmas gifts and projects. Both holidays will be here before you know it and it's good to start early with projects. If you can't find what you want at our library, we can try to request it from another branch.
