Project Peep Begins @ N. Channel!

Project Peep begins Wednesday, February 15 here at North Channel Branch! That afternoon, you can  start viewing at least twenty eggs that will be incubating here at the Front Desk for approximately twenty-one days until they hatch...After that time, local foster families will be brooding them at home for a few weeks, but don't worry, we'll keep a couple of chicks here so you can keep observing their growth until Saturday, March 25. Please call the library at (281) 457-1631 for information about supplemental programs such as "Life Cycles" and "Eggs and More Eggs" for ages 6-12 years. Project Peep is a unique animal science program brought to Harris County Libraries through a grant provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC).
