 In partnership with Houston Money Week, participants of our pre-school storytime, learned about money this week.  I wanted to give families additional resources that will allow you to extend this experience at home. 

 

 

Children's Egg Hunt

We had wonderful spring weather for an egg hunt in our pocket park after storytime earlier this week.  The children made bunny baskets and the staff hid over 200 eggs in the grass, up in trees, under bridges and behind bushes.

Hop in to Egg Hunt Storytime

Peter RabbitJoin me for a Rabbit storytime Tuesday, March 31st  at 10:30am in the meeting room.  Come 30 minutes early to get a ticket at the Information Desk because space is limited.  We can allow for 50 children aged 3-5 years old. I will tell stories, sing songs, do fingerplays, and then we will make an egg basket and go on an egg hunt in our pocet park outside.

March Children's Museum Storytime

Children's MuseumWould you like to get your 3-7 year old child off to a good start with learning?  Try our  Children's Museum Storytime designed by the Children's Museum of Houston. Saturday, March 28th at 11:00 am in the Northwest Branch Library meeting room we will present the theme called How Your Child Learns. We will read The Grouchy Ladybug by Eric Carle, A Tree is Nice by Janice May Udry and Monarch Butterfly.

Rodeo Reads for Little Buckaroos

rodeoJoin me for Rodeo Storytime Tuesday, February 3rd at 10:30am in the meeting room.  We will sing cowboy songs, read stories and do a western craft. Come dressed in your western wear and bring and camera.  Come 30 minutes early to get a ticket at the Information Desk because space is limited.   

Babies Love Storytime

It is time to get your baby off to a great start at the library.  We have a Baby Giggles class for children birth to 11 months, Babiesgeared for babies not yet walking. It meets every Wednesday at 1:00 pm for 45 minutes.
