We're Cool For the Summer

We're looking for summer volunteers at our library!

Summer Volunteers Needed!

Hi everyone! We are almost in mid-May. Summer is fast approaching. Parents, do you have a teen who is at least 16 years of age? Does your teen need something to do over the summer break? Consider volunteering at the Aldine Library! Volunteering teaches teens the importance of community service. Also, volunteering can sometimes be a part of both high school graduation requirements and scholarship applications.

Adults are welcome to volunteer, too!

A volunteer orientation will be held on May 16th from 5-6 PM.  Please join us!

Sizzling Summer

Does the summer heat got you beat? Come chill at the Aldine Library. We will be serving cold fruit and cool drinks to our patrons on Wednesday, August 19th at 5 PM. Don't miss out!

Last Summer Hurrah

There's still time for some lazy summer fun before school is back in session. These books can help you enjoy the unofficial end of the season with family and friends before the bell rings and the autumn leaves begin to fall:

Thanks for a Job Well Done

We have had a super summer here at the Aldine Library. A superb team of volunteers have tirelessly been working behind the scenes to ensure a smooth library operation.  On Friday, July 24th, we hosted a lunch to honor our dedicated teen volunteers. Thanks for a job well done, guys! We appreciate all of your time and effort this summer.
