Fun Summer Programs at the Little Blue Library

The Little Blue Library inside Mercer Botanic Gardens has lots of programs going on right now for the whole family.  Today we had Space Seeds, for kids ages 9 to 11 years.  We learned about seeds and plants grown in space, and the importance of being able to grow vegetation even in outer space.  Tomorrow, Thursday June 20th we will have a program for teens, called Element Jar Necklace for ages 11 to 18 years.  With a little science and fun, we will take a tiny bottle and fill it with an element of our own making and wear it or share it.  This program will take place under the Tree House at 1:30 pm.  For more information on these programs, please call Victoria at 832-927-5480.  To see what other programs we have coming up, please check our events calendar at hcpl.net, or just come by and
