Where are all the tax forms?

You can find tax forms on the first floor across from the Reference
Desk. Please note that the production of some 2012 major tax products, including the Form
1040 and the Instructions for Form 1040, were impacted by the recent
passage of the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 and are delayed. Know that as soon as the forms arrive, we will place them out for pickup and blog about them here.

Free Tax Help

The AARP FoundationTax-Aides are back to help you with your taxes.  They offer free assistance to taxpayers with low and moderate income with special focus on those 60 and older.  They're here at the Katy Branch every Tuesday through April 17 and work with people on a first come - first served basis between 12:30pm and 4:30pm.  Signups begin after 10:00am each Tuesday and participants should expect to wait an extended period of time for their names to be called.

Form 1040, Form and Instructions for 1040 EZ; Schedule D-1 Continuation Sheet; Schedule M Making Work Pay & Gov't Retiree Credits; Form 3903 Moving Expenses;  Form & Instructions for 8283 Non-Cash Charitable Contribution; Form 8606 Non deductible IRA's;  Form 8812 Additional Child Tax Credit.
