Where are all the tax forms?

You can find tax forms on the first floor across from the Reference
Desk. Please note that the production of some 2012 major tax products, including the Form
1040 and the Instructions for Form 1040, were impacted by the recent
passage of the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 and are delayed. Know that as soon as the forms arrive, we will place them out for pickup and blog about them here.

The Week @ the Katy Library – January 25th Edition

The IRS tax forms are in!  And starting next week (Feb 2nd), the volunteers with AARP will be here to help you file your annual income tax.  They’ll be here every Tuesday from 12:30pm-4:30pm until Tax Day in April.

Until then, try out this week’s job seminar on Tuesday, 1/26 at 10:30am, covering how to prepare great cover letters, thank you letters, and reference pages.  The local Workforce Solutions provides these seminars at the library, but did you know they have a new office in the Katy Mills Mall?

Tax forms have arrived

It's that time of year again-tax season.  The North Channel Library has many of the tax forms you will need to file your taxes.  Look for them in the library's lobby.  If you need assistance locating a tax form, please let us know!
