Monday, July 22nd at 7 PM – Teen – Jaeger Pilot Compatibility Test [13+]
Have you ever thought that you could be drift compatible with your best friend? That you could handle fighting kaiju in a Mark V Jaeger? The Parker Williams Library will be hosting a Jaeger Pilot Compatibility Test on July 22nd at 7 PM in the Library Community Room. See if you have the skills to sync. 

July's Tuesday Teen Programs at 2PM

Tuesday, July 2nd from 2 PM – Teen – Perler Bead Art [13+]
Teen programs are coming back to the Parker Williams Library on Tuesdays and Mondays. Join us this Tuesday, July 2nd in Room 3 at 2 PM for the relaxing concentration that is Perler Bead Art. Perler beads are fusible pieces of plastic that you can design a variety of pixelated graphics.

Tuesday, July 16th from 2 PM – Teen – R/C Quadcopter Obstacle Course [13+]
If you’ve ever thought you would make a great drone pilot, join us on July 16th at 2 PM in Room 3. We will have a small obstacle course put together for teens to try their luck to get our library drones through it in record time.  

The First Week of July @ The Little Blue Library

It is the week of The 4th of July, and we will be closed in observance of Independence Day, on Wednesday, but we still have a busy week in store for you at The Little Blue Library.   Monday is Story Time in the Gardens @ 10:30 am.  The subject this week will be Trees.  Kids Café’ will be provided Mon, Tue, Thurs, and Friday this week from noon to 1 pm.  Thursday is another wonderful teen program for 7 continents 7 instruments.  This week will be Asia.  They will be making an instrument that has existed for a thousand years.  It is a Dizi.  Friday will be another fun filled family day from 9 am to 3 pm.  Come play Pokémon Go & Geocaching.  You will see the wonderful gardens, maybe learn something new, and have a lot of fun.  Do not

Yarn Fox Tail Craft for Teens at LSC-Tomball Library

2 foxes touching nosesTeens ages 11-18 join us next Wednesday, February 21 at 5pm for a fun hour of crafting.  We'll be making super cute and fluffy fox tails out of colorful yarn. You can wear them or carry them on a keychain, your choice. All materials and supplies will be provided. No registration is required. Meet us in Room L129.

Teen Summer Volunteers Needed!

The Katy Branch Library at 5414 Franz Road in old Katy will be having two orientations for teen summer volunteers. The Teen Volunteer Program is open to high school students and will run from June 5-August 5th. Each volunteer is required to attend one training orientation, either Friday, June 9th from 10am-12pm or Wednesday, June 14th, from 10am-12pm. Thursdays at 3 PM the Parker Williams Library will be hosting a variety of different things for teens to do. Each week was a different idea planned from our Parker WIlliams Teen Leadership group to make the summer less boring.

June 8 – Teen Thursday – Engineering Challenge [13+]
What can you build with tin foil, dental floss, and paper? Find out and test your engineering skills. Join us for our first Teen Thursday program in the Library Community Room at 3 PM on June 8th. This the first challenge on the path to Building a Better World.

June 12 -Teen DIY and a Movie – Batman (PG-13) and 8-Bit Batman @ 3 PM [13+]
