Star Wars is a multi-generational saga with audience members from younglings to Jedi Masters.

But, what is a successful franchise without a satire that pokes fun?

Join us on Friday, May 18th at 4 PM for the 1980’s Star Wars satire Spaceballs in the Library Community Room.

Just in time for the next Avengers movie, we are going to recap with the latest of Thor and Hulk.

While watching the movie, we will be cutting up different Marvel pictures and Modge Podging them onto boxes.

Teen DIY and a Movie – Pacific Rim (PG-13) while Designing Your Own Jaeger Logo [13+] - Friday, March 23 at 4 PM

Just in time for the sequel, we will watch man, machine, and monsters duke it out in Pacific Rim.

Much like how each pilot is unique, so is the Jaeger that brings them into battle.

With inspiration from the original Gypsy Danger, Cherno Alpha, Crimson Typhoon, and Striker Eureka, you can make your own Jaeger name and log THEN have it made into a decal to take home.

What better way to spread your distain then giving out some Anti-Valentines.

Make some Anti-Valentine’s with us on February 9th at 4 PM in the Library Community Room as we watch The DUFF and observe the destruction of the typical high school social structure.

With the fast approaching release of the third installment of the Maze Runner Series, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, the Parker Williams Branch will be playing the first movie, The Maze Runner,  on January 26th at 4 PM in the Library Community Room.

While watching the movie, we will be making Glade Duct Tape Pouches.

Teen DIY and a Movie – Spiderman: Homecoming (PG-13) and Spider Mugs December 27th @ 3 PM [13+]

If you’re looking for something to do during Winter Break, enjoy a movie and some cocoa in your very own custom Spider-Mug, made by you.

On December 27th, the Parker Williams Branch will be playing Spiderman: Homecoming at 3 PM in the Library Community Room while you design a mug.

Snacks, and cocoa, are generously provided by the Parker Williams Friends of the Library.

For any teens who embody truth, justice, or are on Thanksgiving Break, the Parker Williams Branch is hosting a special mid-day Teen DIY and a Movie presentation of Wonder Woman in the Library Community Room on November 20th at 2:30 PM.

While watching the movie, we will be designing Wonder Woman t-shirts, including a gold Wonder Woman inspired iron on.

Materials and snacks generously provided by the Friends of The Parker Williams Library.

Teen DIY and a Movie – Back to the Future (PG) and Flux Capacitors August 21st @ 3 PM [13+]

For the last day of summer, we are taking it back in time to end our 80s adventure movies throughout the summer.

We are going to building mini-flux capacitors while watching Back to the Future (PG) in the Library Community Room.

Starlord and his crew have returned in theaters for the second installment of GOTG. For those who may need a refresher or to see the first movie, we are going to be spinning Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 while making Baby Groots.
