The teens are going to Woodstock on Monday at 3:30pm. If you are between the ages of 12 and 18 come and join us for some groovy crafts, music, and snacks.

Landing Your First Job

resumeWorkforce Solutions will be hosting a seminar aimed at teens titled "Landing Your First Job" at the Kingwood Branch Library in the Training Lab.  This seminar will take place on both Saturday, May 18th and Saturday, May 25th at 10 a.m.  This seminar is free of charge and will focus on applying for jobs, interviewing skills, and resumes.  All skills and tips that can be applied to both jobs and colleges.  For more information, call Leanne, YA Librarian for more information at 281-360-6804.

Come and Smile!

Come to Teen Time on Monday, September 17 at 4 pm to watch a movie and take photo booth pictures.  Pictures will be printed and available for pick up starting Tuesday.    All teens ages 12-18 are welcome!

Teens Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Mini Pinatas!

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the Kingwood Library!  Monday, September 17, 2012 at 3:30 pm, teens ages 12-18 are invited to create mini pinatas!  This program will take place in the Conference Room on the second floor of the library.  All supplies (including candy to put in the pinatas) will be provided by the library; supplies, however, are limited.  Please be aware of any possible food allergies.
