3-D Printer Activities @ North Channel

3-D PrinterHave you ever wondered about 3-D Printing? How long does it take to print an object? What does the finished project look like? North Channel will have the 3-D printer for 10 days and will be offering demonstrations, so come by any of the following programs to experience the fun and excitement of the latest technology advancement.
On Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 4:30 pm during Tween Time, Ms. Meredith will be here to demonstrate how the printer works, and show some cool examples of items that have printed off the machine. 

Code Challenge

Love computers and want to add to your computer skills. Come and learn about basic computer coding, similar to what is used in all your favorite apps and mini games. Ages 12-18 are welcome.
The challenge will be June 16th at 3:00pm. See you there!

Practical Skills For Healthy Relationships

Hey teens, are you starting to date? Relationships can be fun and exciting when they are healthy. But how do you have a healthy relationship, and how do you keep it that way? The Bridge Over Troubled Waters will be having a program to teach us how to set boundaries, how to be emotionally aware and how to communicate effectively Wednesday, November 12th at 4:30 pm in the public meeting room. Teen Electronic Games Night, Ages 14 Up, July 10th

Jacinto City Branch Library is having Teen Electronic Games Night for ages 14 and up tonight, July 10th, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm in our Meeting Room.  Come and join us for some fun!

Teen Time: Steampunk Jewelry Making

Love steampunk jewelry but don’t know how to make it? Then come join us on Monday, June 23rd at 3:00 pm in the public meeting room for our Teen Time Summer Program. We will submerge ourselves into the world of steampunk and create extraordinary pieces of jewelry. This program is recommended for teenagers 12 to 18 years old. All materials will be provided while supplies last. 

TAG - March 24 @ 6:30pm, Teen Area

TAGThe school year is starting to wind down, but there is still plenty of good to be done by joining TAG.  TAG meets the 4th Monday of every month during the school year at 6:30pm to help brainstorm ideas and help prepare programs.  It’s a great addition to any college, scholarship, and/or job application.  This month's program will take place Monday, March 24th @ 6:30pm.  Questions?  Contact Leanne, YA Librarian, 281-360-6804 for more information.

Round 1 Starts Today!


Round 1 of our March Madness: YA Book Bracket kicks off today in the Kingwood Library's Teen Area.  Vote for your favorites and see who moves up the bracket to the championship matchup.  There will be 4 rounds including the Championship matchup.  Each round for voting will last a week, starting today, March 10.  Vote online by clicking here or in the Teen Area.  Questions?  Ask Leanne, YA Librarian, 281-360-6804
