Family Storytime is held on Monday Nights at 7pm.

You are invited to join Mr. Bear and friends as we enjoy books, songs and much more. This is a free program and you do not need to register to attend.

Families will enjoy books, songs, and puppets during this weekly storytime program. Frequent crafts are also provided, but may not be appropriate for children under 3 years old. Neither tickets nor registration are required for this program.

Dr. Seuss Birthday Party on Thursday, March 1 at 6:30 pm

Join us for a special Twilight Tales on Thursday, March 1 at 6:30 PM. We'll be saying "Happy Birthday to You" as we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss with fun stories and activities. This program is designed for preschool age children and their families or caregivers. Tickets are required. They are free and available at the Kids Information Desk starting 30 minutes before the program.

Valentine's Day Craft @ Storytime

This week in storytime children will have a fun holiday craft to make for Valentine's day.

Family Storytime is held every Monday night at 7:00 pm.
Toddlers Tales is held on every Wednesday at 10 am and 1:30 pm.
Story Pals for Pre-Schoolers is held every Thursday at 10:00 am.

Siblings are always welcome and you do not need tickets to attend. Space is limited for all programs. The safety of the children we serve is our first consideration. Room capacity, as determined by the fire Marshall, as well as our desire for a high quality program experience, may necessitate limits.

As the sun set and twilight approaches children begin to realize that bedtime is near. Many chose to wander about in scattered fashion as they dillydally their time away. Thus, the art of procrastination can be achieved at a surprisingly early age.

I advise parents’ that they can support their child’s needs by setting and staying with a bedtime routine. The American Academy of Pediatrics states, "it's almost impossible to overstress the importance of a calm, orderly bedtime routine." Creating an evening story-time promotes a tranquil environment for your young child, consequently; supporting their need them unwind from the day.

Twilight Tales, April 25th @ 7pm

Mother's day is held on May 8th. Do you have a gift yet?

During this evening's storytime, children will have an opportunity to create a picture frame for that special someone. Children under the age of two years old will be provided an alternative craft. Supplies are limited.

Next week, we will be celebrating Children's Book Week.

Twilight Tales

Family Night, our Thursday evening storytime, now has a new name: Twilight Tales. We will have a great story, sing a song or two, and even play with a giant parachute. Children are welcome to come dressed in their comfy pajamas to enjoy the fun! Twilight Tales will be on Thursdays at 6:30 PM. Tickets are required, but they are free and available at the Kids Information Desk starting 30 minutes before the program. This week's theme will be opposites and shapes.

Celebrating Spring

Storytimes this Week.

Children, who attended family storytime last night, celebrated the beginning of the spring season by making wands.

The family storytime program meets every Monday night, at 7:00 p.m. Children of all ages are welcome. Craft projects are often provided.

Coming up later this week, Ms Susan will be reading a few of her favorite books about spring. Toddler storytime is on Wednesdays at 10:00 am and 1:30 pm. Pre-school program is held on Thursday at 10:00 am. We hope to see you there.

Back to School Bash

Help your child get ready for the new school year by visiting the library on Monday, August 16th at 7:00 p.m. We will be touring the library, sharing books, and creating a special craft project.
