Job Rebranding Workshop

On Tuesday, March 11, Workforce Solutions' presenter Cheryl Sandifer will be providing tips and advice to help you review, assess, and update your work skills and strengths.  This free workshop will be held in our Computer Lab from 1 PM top 3 PM.  Registration is required.  For more information contact the library @ 281-360-6804 or stop by our Adult Services information desk.

Ring in the New Year with Programs for Adults @ Freeman!

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library invites you to join us for our Adult Programs in January 2014*.  We will continue with TGIF Programs, various book clubs (mystery, great books, two science fiction/fantasy clubs, and YA Book Club for Adults (online)), Freeman Needlecrafters, Adult Crafts to Go, Clear Lake Area Writers (CLAW), and SCORE Counseling.

Landing Your First Job

resumeWorkforce Solutions will be hosting a seminar aimed at teens titled "Landing Your First Job" at the Kingwood Branch Library in the Training Lab.  This seminar will take place on both Saturday, May 18th and Saturday, May 25th at 10 a.m.  This seminar is free of charge and will focus on applying for jobs, interviewing skills, and resumes.  All skills and tips that can be applied to both jobs and colleges.  For more information, call Leanne, YA Librarian for more information at 281-360-6804.

All programming is supported by the Friends of Freeman Library.

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library looks forward to the Job Search Skills Seminars presented by Workforce Solutions in September 2012. Each session will by held on a Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm.

  • September 19th - Networking & Social Media
  • September 26th - Interviewing
