bookworm

The YA Book Club will meet this Thursday at 6pm.  This month we will be discussing any book you’ve read or loved or hated within the past few months.  This club is for teen and tween readers, and adults who love YA lit.  I'll be reading Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell.  We meet upstairs in the 2nd floor Conference Room.  Contact Leanne, YA Librarian, 281-360-6804 for more information.

Teens and Tweens: Go Retro with Extreme Tie Dye & Retro Crafts

Go back in time with a twist this week as our teen and tween programs have a retro theme. First up is Extreme Tie Dye on Wednesday, June 19th at 3pm. Suit up and spray your own tie dye shirt. Please bring a prewashed white cotton t-shirt. We will have some on hand but we can not guarantee sizes.

On Thursday, June 20th at 3pm, we will show you a new twist on Retro Crafts like perler beads and shrink plastic. Learn how to turn childhood craft materials into art.

Programs are appropriate for ages 10-18 years old.
